The dining room is used by most of the residents who have had involvement in the personal touches. Home cooked meals are part of the care received a Tudor House, these also meet special dietary.

Our rear garden is user friendly, having hand rails, large seating areas and lawned areas. We also have large Gazebo’s that we put up in the warmer weather. We regularly have outside entertainment such a BBQ’s, Summer Fete, Family Garden Party, Afternoon Tea Parties and Individual Birthday Parties.

Tudor House takes pride in providing activities for all residents. This includes taking residents to a weekly dementia choir, day centre activities, and monthly lunches at the local Baptist Church and regular outings to local cafes.  Visitors are often impressed with the out in the community services that Tudor House get their residents involved in. Residents are encouraged to express their personal views on the day to day care and living. This can been seen by open audit results displayed around the home.

What People Say About Us

Whether it's a comment from one of our residents or their loved ones, we pride ourselves in the rapport we have built up over the years.

Resident since March 2019. Found the home and staff very nice, staff helpful and caring. All very friendly. The manager is professional but relates to family members on a personal level, keeping us up to date and informed on my dad. Family days throughout the year - Easter, summer etc., see's other families enjoying spending time with family members in the home. Am very happy with the service being provided to my dad. Would recommend!

Catherine M

(Daughter of Resident)

My mother has been at Tudor House just over a year now, and I really can't fault it. The staff and management are so caring and also are very on the ball with any health concerns. It has a very homely feel and visitors are always welcomed, also staff work hard to involve the residents in various activities.
After an initial settling in period Mum is happy there and so are we. Would highly recommend.

(Daughter of Resident)

Our family made the agonising decision to place dad into a care home. From the time he was admitted in March 2018 to Tudor House they have been nothing but exemplary in the care they have all shown dad. The manager has been truly caring and nothing but compassionate. Sadly dad had to move to a challenging behaviour unit. We would highly recommend this home to anyone faced with the difficult decision of putting a loved one into a care home.

Tracey K

(Daughter-in-law of Resident)

The staff and manager give a very high standard of care, nothing is too much trouble, very caring and friendly. My mom has been here just over a year and is happy and settled. Mom always looks smart and clean, her room is spotless and very comfortable. Any concerns are dealt with in a professional manner.

(Daughter of Resident)

My mother wasn't at Tudor House for very long before she passed away but the care she got from all the staff was excellent, they even make family welcome. Some residents go out to the local church, cafe's, etc, which I think is really good for them. Mom's last few months were happy and that's all we wanted for her. A big thank you to Tudor House.
